Senior (2015): Played in all 13 games throughout his senior year, making five starts … had three goals and five assists for eight points … scored his first goal of the season against Notre Dame on Feb. 28 … tallied one goal and an assist for two points in the 11-10 victory over Wagner on March 7 … grabbed three ground balls.
Junior (2014): Weil appeared in nine games, including six Ivy League contests … throughout his junior season, he scored six goals and tallied one assist for seven points … scooped three ground balls … tallied four goals against Princeton on April 12.
Sophomore (2013): In his second year with the Big Green, Weil appeared in 10 games, including five Ivy League contests … scored a career-high seven goals … added an assist … grabbed three ground balls … had two goals in the season opener against No. 10 Colgate … registered his first career hat trick versus No. 15 Hofstra in non-conference action … had a three-game point streak in the middle of the season.
Freshman (2012): Weil played in 12 of the team's 14 games in his first season … scored two goals and two assists for four points … recorded his first collegiate goal on March 21 at North Carolina … tallied his first assist on April 24 … grabbed two ground balls and caused one turnover.
Before Dartmouth: Competed at John Jay High School during his prep career … earned five varsity letters, including three in lacrosse and two in football … his lacrosse team won the New York Section I Class B championship in 2009-10 with an 18-2 record … all-section and all-league … during his senior season, he earned All-American, all-section and all-league honors.
Personal: Jake Bennett Weil is the son of Stanley ‘79 and Mindy Weil … has one brother and one sister … his brother, Zach, played lacrosse at Union College from 2007-08.
