Chase Engdahl joined the Strength and Conditioning staff in May of 2025, working primarily with the men's and women's ice hockey teams.
Engdahl has experience with both collegiate and professional hockey teams, most recently serving as the strength and conditioning coach for the men's and women's team's at Minnesota Duluth, alongside women's head coach Maura Crowell, from 2023-2025. Prior to his time in Minnesota, he worked as the Director of Hockey Performance at Vermont.
From 2019-2021, Engdahl served as the assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Colorado Avalanche.
In his previous roles, Engdahl has overseen all facets of sports performance, working closely with both the sports medicine and coaching staffs of both men's and women's programs to enhance physical preparation. He has developed hockey specific strength and conditioning programs, implemented injury mitigation strategies, used a variety of applied sports science technologies, created individualized recovery strategies, assisted with nutrition, created workload reports, and facilitated on and off-ice return to play sessions.
