Danielle Spiliotis enters her first season as an assistant coach for the Dartmouth women's basketball team.
“We are truly grateful to welcome Danielle to our DWB family,” said Belle Koclanes, the Gail Koziara Boudreaux ’82 and Family Head Coach of Women’s Basketball. “She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge from her time as both a collegiate and professional athlete, spending the last five years living, coaching and playing in her native Greece.”
Spiliotis is coming to Hanover after a five-year professional basketball career in Greece’s top level where she played with four teams. Spiliotis spent time coaching while overseas as well by mentoring youth teams and organizing camps for children residing in the surrounding areas of where she played.
“Most importantly, Danielle arrives to Hanover with a humble heart and an eagerness to serve our student-athletes as a mentor,” Koclanes continued. "Her role will include every aspect of recruiting, scouting and development. Welcome, D!”
A 2014 graduate of Cedarville University in Ohio, Spiliotis was a four-year member and captain of the basketball team.
