In September 2019, Dartmouth women's lacrosse head coach
Alex Frank has added Kelsie Garrison to her staff as an assistant for the 2020 season.
Â
Garrison came to Dartmouth after a four-year playing career with the Colorado Buffaloes, playing under Frank, who was an assistant coach with the program.
Â
"I am very excited to welcome Kelsie to the Big Green family," Frank said. "I was fortunate to coach Kelsie for three years at Colorado. Her tenacious and aggressive style of play on the defensive end allowed her to have a successful career in Boulder and I am thrilled for her to share her knowledge with our players.
Â
"Her passion and enthusiasm for the game is infectious and I look forward to mentoring Kelsie as she begins her coaching career at Dartmouth," Frank added.
Â
While a member of the Buffs, Garrison was an All-MPSF Second Team player in 2017 and an All-PAC-12 Second Team selection as a senior in 2018. She earned all-academic honors in her final three seasons in Boulders before going on to graduate with a degree in broadcast journalism in the spring of 2018.
Â
A native of Westlake Village, California, Garrison concluded her collegiate career as the program's all-time leader in ground balls (160).
