Hanover, N.H. - Two members of the Dartmouth women's lacrosse team, Kristen Barry (Duxbury, Mass.) and Greta Meyer (Denver, Colo.) have been named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association All-Northeast teams.
Barry, a senior attacker, is a repeat selection to the First Team All-Northeast by the IWLCA. This season she earned her fourth-straight All-Ivy nod with a spot on the first team for the second consecutive year. The team's Offensive MVP, Barry led the Big Green's attack, tallying a team-high 49 points while also leading the squad in goals with 37 and assists with 12. She graduates as one of the most potent offensive players ever to wear the Green and White, ranking fourth in career points with 177 and fourth in career goals with 146.
Meyer, a freshman midfielder, adds Second Team All-Northeast honors to her mantle after a tremendous rookie campaign. The versatile Meyer ran the midfield as one of just four players to start all 16 games. She led the Big Green in draw controls with 41 and caused turnovers with 18. The All-Ivy second team honoree ranked second on the team in groundballs with 34 and tallied 31 points ( 21 goals, 10 assists).
By virtue of her first team status, Barry moves on to the national All-America ballot.
