Dartmouth Women's Soccer Announces Incoming Class of 2013

HANOVER, N.H. -- Dartmouth women's soccer head coach Angie Hind announced the six members of the Big Green's class of 2013 who will take to Burnham Field next fall.

The six-woman class includes three backs, two midfielders and a forward, hailing from five states and the District of Columbia.

"I am delighted to announce our recruiting class for 2009 and I believe they will really bolster our squad," said Hind, who is entering her fifth season at the helm. "In addition to being talented athletes they are also a great group of young women who I really feel will bring great energy to our program and to the Dartmouth community. Aurelia, Grace and Paige will help strengthen our back line and Kim and Emma will add more depth across our midfield. As a central striker, Libby can offer a different look to our attack."

Back, FC Delco
Downingtown East/Downingtown, Pa
Four year member of the varsity squad at Downingtown East ... Named first team all-area and first team All-Chesmont League her senior year ... Also voted second team all-region ... Played club soccer for FC Delco and her team was most recently a 2008 EPYSA State Cup finalist ... Club team advanced to the EPYSA semifinals the year before, also winning the Bethesda Thanksgiving Tournament and Las Vegas Showcase in 2007.

Emma Brush
Midfield, Michigan Gators
Grosse Pointe South/Grosse Pointe Park, Mich.
Played four years of varsity soccer at Grosse Pointe South ... Captain and MVP of the 2008 team that won a district championship and advanced to the regional finals ... Voted second team all-state, first team all-region, all district and all-league ... Also played for the Michigan Gators, a nationally ranked club that won the Midwest College Showcase in 2007 and was a semifinalist in the 2008 Michigan State Cup ... Father, George, played lacrosse at Princeton.

Paige Dekker
Back, Rio Vista FC
La Cueva/Albuquerque, N.M.
Played three years of varsity soccer at La Cueva HS, serving as team captain her senior year ... Team won District 2 Championships all three seasons she was on the squad and took the 5A State Championship her sophomore year ... Captained a team that went 22-1 her senior year, winning the Metro Tournament Championship ... Named second team all-state and first team all-district as a senior ... Two-time Academic-All-District choice ... Club team won the New Mexico State Championship in 2007 ... Older brother, Travis, is an all-conference football player at the Air Force Academy.

Libby Hamlin
Forward, FSA Soccer Plus
Rockville/Vernon, Conn.
Four-year varsity starter and two-year captain at Rockville HS ... Earned all-state honors twice and all-conference accolades three times ... Named to the all-academic team four times and won the Scholar Athlete Award as a senior ... Has played premier soccer since age nine, the last six with FSA SoccerPlus, serving as captain for three years ... Team was state cup finalist in 2008 and won its sub-region.

Kim Rose
Midfield, Albertson Fury
Seaford/Seaford, N.Y.
Captained Seaford HS to a conference championship her senior year ... Earned all-county honors each season and was voted all-state her senior year ... Played for the successful Albertson Fury club team and has amassed seven ENY State Championships throughout her club career ... Team currently ranks fourth in the nation ... Also plays for the Long Island Fury women's team.

Aurelia Soloman
Back, Bethesda Sharks
Georgetown Day School/Washington, D.C.
Played four years of varsity soccer at Georgetown Day ... Led her team to Independent School League Championships in 2007 and served as captain as a senior in 2008 ... Named All-ISL in both her junior and senior seasons ... Has played for the Bethesda Sharks since 2002, helping the team to the finals of the 2007 Maryland State Cup.
