Twyman Named to Canadian U23 National Team

Dartmouth senior Kathryn Twyman (Edmonton, Alta.) has been named to the Canadian U23 National Team for the 2009 World Championships this summer.
Twyman will row as part of the women's quad that will race at the FISA World U23 Championships this July 23-26 in Racice, Czech Republic. Twyman helped the Big Green to an NCAA Championship appearance as a team this spring and also rowed in the Varsity Eight that qualified for NCAAs in 2007. This spring she was named to the ESPN the Magazine CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team. Earlier this year, Twyman won a Canadian Rhodes Scholarship and will study in Oxford, England next year.
