Women's Crew Closes Fall Season at Foot of the Charles

BOSTON - The Dartmouth women's crew completed its fall
season with a solid showing at the Foot of the Charles Regatta.
It was a great day for late fall racing, with light winds and calm water on the Charles River.
The top finisher on the day was Dartmouth's novice eight boat, which took second out of 23 crews in a time of 13:23.1. Radcliffe ran away with the race, winning in 13:09.0, but Dartmouth's time was a full eight seconds faster than Northeastern in third.
In a 49-boat varsity four race, Dartmouth's first varsity took fourth in a time of 13:54.5, just 0.9 behind Brown and 3.2 seconds ahead of Northeastern. The second varsity finished 19th in 14:35.1 and the third varsity boat took 40th in 15:20.6.
