PRINCETON, N.J. – After opening the 2015-16 season last weekend at the Head of the Charles, the Dartmouth women's rowing team returned to the water for the Princeton Chase on Sunday.

“I was pleased with how the team rallied and made adjustments and improvements from the earlier races to the later ones,” head coach Linda Muri said at the end of the day.

To start things off in the Varsity 8+, the Big Green's A boat placed 19th in 15:32.912, leaving almost three seconds between it and Boston College. Dartmouth's B crew was 41st with a time of 16:18.624, while the C boat came in 51st place with a 16:38.781.

Four Green boats were entered in the Varsity 4+, with Dartmouth's B crew leading the way with an eighth place finish in 17:49.449. The A crew was right behind in 10th with a time of 18:02.405 and the C boat was 17th in 18:30.727. The D boat placed 26th in 19:02.422. In the Novice 8+, the Green took ninth in 17:25.247, finishing almost nine second ahead of Penn.

Next Sunday, Nov. 8, Dartmouth will host the Green Monster.
