SYRACUSE, N.Y. – No. 10 ranked Dartmouth heavyweight rowing was victorious in three out of the four races Sunday morning at No. 9 Syracuse at the Ten Eyck Memorial Boathouse.

Dartmouth's First Varsity 8 (5:52.2) jumped out to an early lead and led by three seats for the majority of the way. It was not until the final 300 meters that Syracuse (5:51.4) made a late charge and passed the Big Green to win by less than a second.

The Big Green Second Varsity 8 (6:00.6) led the entire way and was able to take a four second victory over the Orange (6:04.4).

Dartmouth's Third Varsity 8 (6:00.7) was the closest win of the day. The Big Green hung on to beat Syracuse (6:01.1) by .4 seconds as the Orange made a late push but could not pass the Big Green before the finish line.

Dartmouth's Fourth Varsity 8 (6:10.2) cruised to a seven second victory ahead of Syracuse (6:17.9).
