Dartmouth Starts Spring Season at Princeton

The Big Green took a second place finish in the Varsity 8
PRINCETON, N.J. – The Dartmouth lightweight rowing team took on Princeton, Delaware and Temple to open its spring season. The Varsity 8 and second Varsity 8 boats competed for the Big Green.

Dartmouth Varsity 8 finished in second (6:01.9), three seconds behind first place Princeton. The Big Green were less than a second in front of third place Delaware and 17 seconds ahead of Temple.

In the Second Varsity 8, Dartmouth finished in fourth (6:23.2), less than a second behind third place Temple. Princeton won the race, while Delaware took second.

The Big Green return to action on Saturday where they host Harvard for the Biglin Bowl in Hanover.
