Women and Lightweight Set to Host Only Home Race of 2018-19 Season

Women's rowing faces BU, while men's lightweight takes on Harvard

HANOVER, N.H. – The women's and lightweight rowing teams will be hosting its only home races of the 2018-19 season on Saturday in Hanover.

Lightweight will first host the Biglin Bowl against Harvard on the Connecticut River. The First Varsity races first at 9:00 a.m. followed by the Second Varsity at 9:30 a.m.

Women's rowing competes later in the day against Boston University. The First Varsity begins at 10:45 a.m., the Second Varsity and Third Varsity gets going at 11:05 a.m., the Varsity Four A Squad races at 11:25 p.m. and the Varsity Four B team concludes the day at 11:45 p.m.

For potential spectators, please be aware that the viewing area at the finish line (at the site of the former Chieftain Motor Inn on Lyme Road/Route 10) will not be open this weekend due to unsafe conditions. The late winter weather has left the steep path to the spectator area covered with snow, ice and mud. Hanover Police will be at the site on Saturday morning to enforce the closing.
