SATURDAY'S GAME
•   The No. 15 Dartmouth women's lacrosse team is home Saturday, welcoming UNH to Hanover for a battle of Granite State bragging rights.
•   Opening draw control is set for 1 p.m. and will be carried live on ESPN+.
LAST TIME OUT
•   The Big Green turned a lot of heads on Tuesday afternoon with a dominant win against visiting Florida.
•   The Gators came to Hanover ranked as the No. 5 team in the nation, but left the Upper Valley with a 13-9 loss, the first defeat in the all-time series against Dartmouth as the Green and White never trailed in the game.
BIG-TIME PLAYERS
•   Seniors
Katie Bourque and
Sophia Turchetta led the way with four goals each against Florida.
•   After being held to just a pair of assists against UMass in the season opener, Bourque has scored all 15 of her goals in the last three games.
•   Turchetta was held to just an assist vs. Brown, but has scored at least three times in the other three matchups this season.
•   Fellow senior
Ellie Carson is second on the team with 14 goals, but is the lone Dartmouth player with multiple goals in all four games this season, adding two against Florida, including the game-winner.
THE RANKINGS
•   No polls have been released since Tuesday, so here are this week's rankings from Monday morning.
    o   IWLCA: 15th (up from #16)
    o   Inside Lacrosse: 13th (up from #15)
o   US Lacrosse Magazine: 11th (up from #15)
o   New England Lacrosse Journal: 1st (holds true)
SCOUTING UNH
•   The Wildcats are 1-3 overall this season and are on a three-game skid after opening the season with a 15-9 victory at home against Merrimack.
•   Since then, UNH has dropped a road game at Iona (9-8), and at home vs. UConn (21-8) and Fairfield (15-9).
•   Julia Neyland and Elizabeth Blanding are tied for the team lead in scoring with 10 points each. Both have done so with eight goals and a pair of assists.
•   Emily Curtis leads the way with nine goals, but has yet to dish out a helper this spring.
•   Despite playing in just 67-of-240 minutes in goal for the Wildcats, Amanda Gottlieb has been saddled with two losses, while also getting credit for the win vs. Merrimack. Issy Torres has played in 173 minutes, made three starts and appeared in all four games, but is 0-1 on the season.
AGAINST THE WILDCATS
•   These two teams did not play a season ago, the first time these two did not play in a season for non-postponement reasons since 1999.
•   The 2015 game was postponed due to weather and never rescheduled.
•   Dartmouth has won the last seven meetings and 22-of-the-last-23 dating back to 1992.
•   UNH's lone win in that stretch was a 9-8 win in Durham during the 2010 season.
•   In the last game played between the two back in 2018, Dartmouth won, 13-3, leading 10-0 at halftime.
•   The defense held UNH to just six shot attempts in each half, while Bourque finished with six points on three goals and a career-high three assists.
NOTHING…
•   Dartmouth is just winning.
•   They are not in the top five of any individual or team statistical category tracked by the NCAA.
•   But they are doing everything they need to do to win games, whether that is as individuals or as a collective group.
NEW SCORING THREAT…
•   Junior
Claire Marshall came into the season with just two goals to her name, both as a freshman in 2018.
•   Known more for her back-to-back seasons of 54 draw controls, Marshall already has developed into a scoring threat this season for the Big Green.
•   Marshall has goals in all four games this season with a career-high two in the home opener against BU for a total of five in the four victories to open the year.
UPCOMING MILESTONE FIGURES
•  Â
Ellie Carson needs just two goals to reach 100 for her career as the two scored against the Gators brought her career total to 98. She is also two games shy of 50 for her career.
•  Â
Katie Bourque isn't too far back of Carson as she has 92 career goals to her credit.
•   With a team-high seven assists this season, senior
Tori Chanenchuk needs just one more to reach 50 for her career with Saturday set to be her 40th appearance.
•   The next
Sophia Turchetta goal will be the 50th of her career as she already has 11 in four games this season. Her 21 scored in 17 games last season was a career high.
'TIN FOR THE WIN
•   The win over the Gators on Tuesday was the 29th career victory for senior goalkeeper
Kiera Vrindten, moving her alone into fourth all-time at Dartmouth, passing Sarah Carlson '99.
•   With her seventh of eight saves against UF, Vrindten became the sixth goalkeeper in program history to reach 400 career saves.
•   She enters the UNH game with 401, just three back of fifth-place Laura Melly '83 (404). Sarah Hughes '02 holds the record with 550.
