Thrilling photo finish between three of the four boats in the semifinal
WEST WINDSOR, N.J. – Women's rowing alum Molly Reckford '15 and her partner Michelle Sechser advanced to the finals in the lightweight women's double sculls at the U.S. Rowing Olympic Team Trials after their performance in the semifinal on Wednesday.
The pair finished in second place (7:02.75), just 0.23 seconds behind USTC Princeton and a mere 0.35 seconds ahead of the third-place boat from the Green Racing Project in a thrilling photo finish.
With racing on Thursday canceled due to weather, finals will take place on Friday. The races will be streamed live on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app.
