ITHACA, N.Y. – The Dartmouth women's lacrosse team fell to Cornell, 16-13, in Ivy League action on Saturday afternoon at Schoellkopf Field.

Dartmouth finishes the season 3-12, 1-6 while Cornell improves to 8-7, 4-3.

Katina Christensen,
Lucy Murray, and
Jev Ward each scored a hat-trick for the Big Green. Christensen added two assists to finish with five points while Murray had one.
Rosie McCarthy scored twice, and
Callie Riabov scored her first career goal.
Maja Desmond led the team in ground balls with four while
Isabella Godsick had a game-high six draw controls.
Gisele Todd finished with eight saves in goal.

Amanda Cramer scored four goals for the Big Red while Josie Vogel and Sophie Alois each scored three. Katie Castiello had a game-high six points with two goals and four assists. Grace Faircloth had four ground balls and Cramer had four draw controls.

Cornell jumped out to an early 1-0 lead through Genevieve Dewinter. The Big Green answered 49 seconds later on an unassisted goal from McCarthy. After the Big Red scored two more to go up 3-1, Dartmouth responded with two of their own, one from
Anna Griffith and one from Christensen.

The Big Red scored the next four to take a 7-3 lead early in the second. Dartmouth scored four of the next five, including
Callie Riabov's first career goal, to face an 8-7 deficit late in the first half. Cornell added two more before the end of half to take a 10-7 lead into halftime.

Cornell outscored Dartmouth 5-3 in the third quarter. The Big Green received two goals from
Jev Ward to seal her second hat-trick of the year and one from McCarthy. Facing a 15-10 deficit going into the fourth quarter, Dartmouth scored three to Cornell's one, but were unable to complete the comeback.
Lucy Murray scored two to complete her hat-trick, her second of the season, and Christensen completed her hat-trick with the final goal of the game, making it her third of the season.
