CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – No. 7 Boston College scored seven goals in the first quarter to take the win, 18-5, over the Dartmouth women's lacrosse team in non-conference action on Wednesday evening at Alumni Stadium. The Big Green move to 2-6 for the season while the Eagles improve to 8-3.

Catherine Erb led the way for the Big Green with three goals.
Jenna Donohue finished with one goal and assist.
Maja Desmond claimed a goal for Dartmouth while
Lucy Murray and
Sophia Franco both had one assist. Franco also finished with three ground balls and two caused turnovers.
Gisele Todd made seven saves in goal for the Big Green.

Jenn Medjid and Mckenna Davis both finished with a game-high seven points. Medjid scored six goals with one assist and Davis scored twice and had five assists. Belle Smith scored three goals for the Eagles. Defensively, Boston College combined for 11 caused turnovers.

Boston College came flying out of the gates, outscoring Dartmouth 7-0 in the opening quarter.

The Big Green opened the scoring in the second quarter. Murray picked up a loose ball and headed towards goal before passing off to her right to Desmond. With the open space in front towards goal, Desmond burst forward and ripped a bounce shot into the back of the net to get Dartmouth on the board.

After Medjid scored her fourth of the evening for the Eagles, the Big Green responded two minutes later. Donohue dumped a pass in the middle for Erb, who calmly slotted the shot to the bottom left corner for her 13
th goal of the season.

Erb added her second of the game on the cusp of halftime. After getting fouled and receiving a free position opportunity, Erb's initial shot was saved, but she followed up on the loose ball and scored off the rebound with under one minute remaining in the half.

The Big Green tallied two more goals early in the third quarter. Donohue scored at the 12:00 minute mark of the quarter with a rip of a shot for her third goal of the season.
Erb completed the hat-trick less than two minutes later. Franco brought the ball from near the midfield line down into the Boston College defensive zone. Franco found an open Erb in front of the Eagles' goal, and Erb took the shot quickly to score her third goal of the evening.
Boston College scored the final six goals, including two from Erin Walsh in the last 2:17 of the game.

Dartmouth returns to Scully-Fahey Field on Saturday for an Ivy League matchup against Harvard. Opening draw is scheduled for 2 p.m. and the game will be available to stream regionally on NESN+, nationally on ESPN+, and internationally on Stretch Internet.
