With the Big Green, Ramsey has three NIRA divisional championships to her credit, including back-to-back titles in 2021 and 2022. She recently scored a team-high 11 tries in just five matches during the 2022 season, including two against Harvard in the championship match.
Friday's series-opening action marks Ramsey's first appearance with USA 7s since the injury at the 2020 Olympics. Following the two-game slate on Friday, the team is set to take on Ireland on Saturday, March 4 at 2:50 p.m. EST before knockouts, which will run through Sunday, begin at 6:28 p.m. EST. All matches can be streamed on Peacock. Over the course of the 2023 sevens series, the team seeks to solidify a place in the top four and earn qualification for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Finishing her collegiate career, Ramsey will return to Dartmouth this spring to compete in the 7s season, which begins Friday, April 7 at Tropical 7s in Tampa, Fla.
