HANOVER, N.H. –  The Dartmouth women's lacrosse team fell 13-6 to No. 11 Penn on Scully-Fahey Field on Saturday afternoon.Â
 Katie Elders led the team netting two goals. Catherine Erb, Maja Desmond, Katina Christensen scored a goal. Mia Puccio collected two points on one goal and one assist.Â

Goalkeeper Gisele Todd collected 10 saves in 56:53 minutes of play. Tamer Luzi also saw time between the pipes.Â

With the loss, the Big Green end the season 7-7 overall and 1-6 in Ivy League play. Meanwhile, the Quakers improve to 12-3 overall and 5-2 in the league and earn the number three seed in the Ivy League tournament.Â

Dartmouth was first to score when Lucy Murray found Christensen at the 14:22 mark of the game, 1-0.

In response, Penn scored 1-1. At the end of the first quarter, Desmond scored to take the 2-1 lead. In the second quarter, Penn outscored Dartmouth 5-1 to take the 6-3 going into halftime.Â

At the start of the second half, the Quakers scored the first three goals, 9-3. At the 8:23 mark of the third quarter, Elders put one past the keeper. Ending the quarter, Penn scored to extend the lead by six, 10-4. In the last frame, the Quakers scored two straight goals and the Big Green countered with two goals from Puccio and Elders. With a last-second goal by Penn the Quakers sealed the 13-6 victory.Â
Dartmouth ends the 2024 season with a 7-7 overall record and a 1-6 mark in Ivy play. The Big Green end the season with a ranked win over USC in the California series and grew from the 2023 season.Â
