Ryan Cornish dropped 28 points for the Big Green as the Dartmouth men's basketball team fell to Cornell on Friday night 76-64 from Newman Arena in Ithaca.

Cornish added six rebounds to the box score while
Romeo Myrthil had 12 points, eight rebounds, two steals and a block.
The Big Green's record falls to 8-10 (2-3 Ivy League) and Cornell's improves to 12-6 (4-1 Ivy League). Â

FIRST HALF: 
- The game began even but Cornell jumped ahead to a 12-8 lead going into the first media timeout.
- Six points from Cornish brought the Big Green within one with 11:08 to go.
- With 4:19 remaining, a 9-3 run from the Big Red put them ahead 30-22.
- The game went scoreless for 3:09 and the half ended on a Cornell three pointer to give them a 35-24 lead going into halftime.
SECOND HALF:
- Five points from Myrthil and a bucket from Brandon Michell-Day put the Big Green within 10, 37-31 Cornell with 17:43 left.
- Two straight three-pointers from Cornell with 9:12 remaining gave them a 55-40 lead.
- Back-to-back three-pointers from Cornish and Myrthil brought the score to 64-54 Cornell with 4:57 remaining.
- The Big Red scored five late to secure the victory, 76-64.
