Brandon Mitchell-Day led the Big Green with 21 points as the Dartmouth men's basketball team took down Harvard 76-56 on Saturday afternoon from Leede Arena. Mitchell-Day added nine rebounds to his stat line in addition to five assists and a block.

Ryan Cornish contributed 19 points and seven rebounds while
Romeo Myrthil had nine points and a career high 12 rebounds.
The Big Green's record improves to 10-10 (4-3 Ivy League) and Harvard's falls to 7-13 (2-5 Ivy League). Â

FIRST HALF: 
- The Big Green opened the game on a 6-0 run fueled by layups from Michell-Day, Jackson Munro and Myrthil.
- The momentum continued for Dartmouth with a three-pointer from Munro and blocks from Mitchell-Day and Ryan Cornish, 9-4 Big Green going into the first media timeout.
- A 10-2 run from the Crimson allowed them to jump ahead 14-11 with 11:43 to go in the half. Â
- With 4:09 remaining, another run extended the Harvard lead to 31-24.
- Dartmouth responded with nine unanswered, highlighted by a three pointer from Cade Haskins and a dunk from Mitchell-Day, to end the half up, 33-31.
SECOND HALF:
- Cornish started the half with a basket and the Big Green scoring did not let up the rest of the half.
- Five points from Myrthil and Cornish and a block from Munro put the Big Green ahead 55-46 midway through the second half.
- The points kept coming with a massive 19-4 run from Dartmouth. The run included five three-pointers from four different players and a huge block from Haskins to but the Big Green up 74-52 with 2:22 to go.
- A final layup from Ben Brown extended the lead and gave the Big Green the victory, 76-56.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- The Big Green held the Crimson from scoring for 3:02 to start the game.
- Dartmouth drained seven three-pointers in the second half alone.
- Mitchell-Day was 10-12 from the field in the contest.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- Dartmouth is now 5-1 over its last six games against Harvard, its best six-game stretch against the Crimson since winning seven straight from 1987-90.
- The 20-point victory is Dartmouth's largest margin of victory over Harvard at home since December 15, 1992, a 90-64 win.
