HANOVER, N.H. – Two members of the Dartmouth women's rowing team were named All-Ivy following the Ivy League Championship this weekend, as announced on Tuesday. Áine Ley was named to the first team while
Jenna Martin earned a spot on the second team. Ley also garnered Academic All-Ivy recognition.
This marks the third consecutive season Martin was named All-Ivy and second straight for Ley. Last year, Martin earned first team All-Ivy while Ley was named to the second team.
Ley was in the four seat of the varsity eight at the Ivy League Championship – as the Big Green finished fourth, their best finish since 2014. Dartmouth was just 1.3 seconds out of a medal. In the heat, the Big Green beat Brown in an impressive performance. Last summer, Ley was named to the United States Under 23 National Team after impressing during camp that was held at the Friends of Dartmouth Boathouse. She has also been in the stroke seat for much of the 2025 season with the Big Green.
Meanwhile, Martin was in the two seat of the varsity eight and continued to make her presence felt. Along with the varsity eight's performance at Ivies, the crew finished second overall amongst a strong field of teams at Sarasota 2K to kick of the spring while the following weekend, beating eventual CAA Champion Northeastern, eventual Patriot League champion Boston University and MIT. The Big Green were also perfect in racing at the Lake Morey Regatta while coming in fourth overall in a stacked field of teams at Women's Eastern Sprints.
Dartmouth finished fourth overall in team points at the Ivy League Championship and now await the NCAA Championship selection show on Tuesday at 5 p.m. on NCAA.com.
