PRINCETON, N.J.—The Ivy League announced its weekly awards for women's lacrosse on Monday afternoon. Dartmouth first-year Madeline Egan has been named Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week.
In the only game of the week, Egan led Dartmouth to a 17-10 win over Harvard. Egan scored five goals against the Crimson while also adding an assist. The Boston native also caused a turnover. Egan's first goal of the game gave the Big Green a much needed 6-4 lead, she then scored the seventh, 11th, 13, and 14th goals for the Big Green.
Through four games, she is tied for the team lead with 12 goals while also adding 10 assists, she is second on the team with 22 points.
The Big Green are back on the field on Monday, Mar. 2 at 3 PM to take on Holy Cross in a non-conference matchup at Scully-Fahey Field.
