Q and A with Anna
Why Dartmouth?
The size was right, the equestrian team was here, I like the outdoors, and it seemed like it would be a really good adventure to live on the East Coast for a while.
How long have you been riding and what got you interested in riding?
According to my parents I've always been a little bit horse crazy, and would get really excited whenever I spotted a horse when I was little. I got riding lessons for my sixth birthday and haven't stopped since - which means I've been riding for thirteen years now.
Tell me something interesting about you that might come as a surprise to your teammates.
This won't actually surprise them, but I really like to knit and have designed and made myself several sweaters.
What activities are you involved in outside of Equestrian?
I'm very involved in the Cabin and Trail division of the DOC and I tutor for Tutor Clearinghouse. Outside of Dartmouth's sphere of influence, I'm a C3 traditional rated member of United States Pony Club.
What are your future plans?
To figure out what I'm going to major in, and find something interesting to do that will support my horse habit in the long term.
