I love Dartmouth's beautiful campus and engineering program. I can study engineering and still get the benefit of a liberal arts education.
How long have you been rowing and what got you interested in rowing?
Freshman year (at Dartmouth), a rower asked me how much I weighed, knowing that the team needed a coxswain. I went to practice with him, and I've been on the team ever since. I love the challenge coxing provides.
Have you won and academic or rowing awards recently?
I won the Most Improved Freshman award my novice year.
Tell me something interesting about you that might come as a surprise to your teammates.
When I was studying in New Zealand, I went bungee jumping.
What are your future plans, if any.
I plan to stay at Dartmouth for a fifth year to earn my Bachelor of Engineering degree, then hopefully get a job in product design or mechanical engineering.
