Q & A with Rob
Why did you choose Dartmouth?
I wanted to go to a medium sized school with a tight-knit community in the middle of nowhere.
How long have you been competing in track and what got you interested?
I started doing Track my freshman year of high school. My mom got me started because everyone on my mom's side of the family competed in Italy. My grandma won the Italian National Championship for the 200 meters but the Olympics were canceled that year because of WWII.
Tell me something interesting about you that might come as a surprise to your teammates.
I went to public school in Florence, Italy for two years, and I usually listen to classical music before a big race.
What are your future plans, if any?
I'm thinking about attending a music conservatory in Italy for several years after graduation, and pursuing a career in the music world.
What extra curricular activities are you involved in on campus?
Chi Heorot and various music ensembles.
