Why Dartmouth?
I love the community. People here are friendly, interesting, hard-working and smart. We all work to make it such a positive, giving place. It's also the best place to be -- next to the mountains, the river, and the green.
How long have you been rowing and what interested you about rowing?
I started coxing in high school, and each time I come to the boathouse I remember why I keep returning. There's an unparalleled level of hard work, competition, and beauty in this sport. I love being on the water.
Something interesting about yourself?
I like to sing, whistle, make music, etc. My freshmen year of high
school, I played the trombone in the marching band -- wool uniform,
plumed hat and all.
