Men's Lightweight Rowing
at Head of the Charles
Q&A with Paul Frazel
Why Dartmouth?
Excellent academics, incredible sense of community, idyllic river and surrounding nature- seemed like a no-brainer.
How long have you been rowing and what interested you about rowing?
I first pulled an oar in 7th grade at a summer camp, then stuck with it through high school because of the teamwork and chance to challenge yourself everyday that are both inherent to the sport.
What is something about you that might come as a surprise to your teammates?
I have also sailed and done swimming competitively; also, my last name is actually not pronounced "Frazzle"
What extracurricular activities are you involved in on campus?
I am working in a neurophysiology lab at DHMC studying autism, I volunteer with the ASPIRE group for autistic children, I play guitar, harmonica, and banjo
What are your future plans, if any?
Likely a MD-PhD dual degree, and I'd like to coach rowing also, ideally at the high school level
