Layne Woodruff joined Alex Frank’s staff as a volunteer coach in the fall of 2019 for the 2020 season.
A 2015 graduate of Northeastern, she earned a B.S. in international business, graduating magna cum laude. Woodruff would then earn a M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from Northeastern in 2019.
A member of the Northeastern Club Lacrosse team, she helped her Huskies team win the 2013 WCLA National Championship and would go on to serve as a team captain the following year.
Prior to coming to Hanover, Woodruff did volunteer work with lacrosse programs in both Peru and Nicaragua in 2019. She also held positions at both Harvard and J.P. Morgan and Chase.
Since 2016, she has been a member of the Collegiate Women’s Lacrosse Officials Association.
