Junior (2012):
• Recipient of The 1980 Award, presented to the woman
who best represents themselves, the team, the College and community through
their academics, athletics and community involvement
Started in all of Dartmouth's 17 games in 2012...Sixth on the
team in scoring with 12 points on nine goals and three assists...Scored a
season-high two goals against Vermont as part of the team's 13-9 win...In season
opener against UNH, scored once and posted two assists for a season-best three
points...Matched her career high with four draw controls at Brown on March 31...Had
back-to-back games of three draw controls against BU (March 7) and Vermont (March
14)...Added two caused turnovers against the Catamounts for her most compete statistical
game of the season...Ended the year with 12 ground balls, 15 draws and eight
caused turnovers...Her 15 draw controls ranked third on the team, while her eight
CTs were fifth.
Freshman (2010):
Saw action in 11 games with three starts as a rookie, playing her best lacrosse toward the end of the season ... Scored two goals in the season-ending loss at #1 Maryland, eventual national champion, on May 8 ... Came in off the bench to take the draw against Penn in the Ivy Championship and grabbed two draw controls of her own but won enough in the circle to help her team to a five-goal run to tie the game, May 2 ... Tallied two ground balls, two draw controls and a caused turnover in the win at Harvard, April 21 ... Scored her first collegiate goal in the win over Columbia on March 17 ... Made her first collegiate start and tallied her first point, an assist, in the win over Vermont, March 3.
Before Dartmouth
Accomplished four-year athlete at Darien in both lacrosse and soccer, serving as team captain in both sports as a senior ... Led the lacrosse team to FCIAC titles in 2006 and 2007 and won the state championship in both 2007 and 2008 … US Lacrosse First Team All-America as both a junior and senior … Under Armour All-America in 2009, represented the North squad … First Team All-FCIAC and all-state as a junior and senior … Named Connecticut State Championship MVP her junior year … Three-time first team All-FCIAC and two-time first team all-state in soccer.
Personal
Daughter of Jay and Mary Bennett … Has one brother and two sisters including older sister Eliza Bennett ’10, a captain of the lacrosse team this spring … Uncle, Alfred Munkenbeck ’69 is a Dartmouth graduate.
Patton on Bennett: Like her sister, Courtney is a strong and fast player. She is a tenacious and confident athlete who is aggressive both defensively and throughout the midfield.

The love the team had for the

The new foco- DUH . All you
can eat? Sounds good to me.

Psychology, because I am
interested in the way people interact with one another and their environment in
order to dictate their behavior and choices.
