Freshman (2014-15): At the Eastern Sprints Regatta, she sat two seat in the third varsity 8 that came in second in the Grand Final (7:01.48) … sat two seat in the third varsity 8 boat that placed seventh in the Grand Final at the Ivy League Championship (6:59.728).
Q&A with Allie Reichert
Why Dartmouth?
Dartmouth was my #1 choice! I knew as soon as I visited that I wanted to go here. The incredible, intelligent, friendly people, the amazing professors, and beautiful Hanover made me want to study here and make Dartmouth my home.
How long have you been rowing and what interested you about rowing?
I walked on the team this fall and just learned to row a few months ago! My mom rowed in college as well as a lot of my friends in high school. I had always heard amazing things about rowing and was excited at this opportunity to try it and become part of an incredible team.
What is something about you that might come as a surprise to your teammates?
I have to eat craisins the night before every race.
What extracurricular activities are you involved in on campus?
I am a member of ski patrol! I am also in MedLife, which is a club dedicated to global health.
What are your future plans, if any?
I hope to become a physician or work in the field of global health.
