International Results: Won silver in the women's eight at the 2003 FISA Junior World Rowing Championships...Won a bronze medal in the women's eight at the 2002 FISA Junior World Championships...Won gold in the women's junior eight at the 2001 Canadian Henley.
National Results: Placed second in the open collegiate women's division at the 2005 CRASH-B World Indoor Rowing Championships...Won gold in the women's intermediate eight at the 2001 USRowing National Championships...Placed sixth in the women's youth four with coxswain at the 2001 Head of the Charles Regatta.
Personal: Kate was named first-team All-American in 2006 and first team All-New England in 2005 and 2006. She began rowing after a coach at her high school convinced her to try the sport and she immediately fell in love with it. Kate's family has been most influential in her sporting career because they have always believed in her and have helped her to believe in herself. Before each race, Kate listens to Van Halen's "Right Now." In addition to rowing, Kate likes to dance, sing, hike, and volunteer.
