Jeff Monahan is entering his second season as an assistant coach for the Dartmouth heavyweight rowing team.
A native of New Hampshire, Monahan comes to Dartmouth from Saugatuck Rowing Club in Connecticut, where he spent the last year serving as the coach of both the novice boys and masters. He also served as a volunteer assistant coach for the Columbia Lightweights in the spring of 2019.

Monahan is a 2018 graduate of Columbia University with a B.S. in computer science. He rowed four years for Columbia's Lightweight program, winning an IRA National Championship in the varsity eight in 2016 and helping the second varsity eight to an undefeated season in 2018. Prior to Columbia, Monahan rowed for Saugatuck Rowing Club, winning a national championship in the youth men's double his senior year of high school.

Monahan's responsibilities will include assisting in all facets of recruiting and working with the program's lower boats and walk-on student-athletes.
