Dartmouth Women's Crew Finishes Ahead of BU but Falls to Yale

BOSTON, Mass ? The Big Green women's crew team came in second in the Varsity Eight race as Yale went on to sweep the Class of 1985 Cup from Dartmouth and Boston University.

Yale won in a time of 6:36.92, followed by Dartmouth (6:41.85) and the Terriers (6:46.04)

The order of finish was the same in the Second Varsity Eight, with the Bulldogs winning in a time of 6:45.02. Dartmouth was second, finishing in a time of 6:58.02, and Boston University crossed the finish line in 7:00.99.

Yale won the Novice Eight by nearly 20 seconds, finishing the 2000-meter race in a time of 6:56.17, followed by the Big Green (7:16.69) and Boston University (7:38.98).

The Yale Varsity Four also won easily, claiming the top spot in a time of 7:26.25 to the Terrier's 7:51.37 and Dartmouth's 7:54.10.

The Bulldogs finished their dominance with winning the Varsity Four ? B race. Yale won in a time of 7:44.83 while Yale's C team came in second with a time of 7:52.18. The Big Green came in third just edging Boston University, 8:12.48 to 8:12.90.

Dartmouth returns to the water April 18 against Syracuse and Radcliffe, hosted by Syracuse.
