Dartmouth Women's Crew Claims Parents Cup

ITHACA, N.Y. ? The Dartmouth women's crew team raced to four wins over Cornell on Saturday, including the headlining Parents Cup.
The Big Green won the Varsity Eight race in 6:54.7 to Cornell's time of 7:04.4, earning the Parents Cup for the fourth consecutive year.
The Big Red opened the day with a win in the Novice Eight by nearly five seconds, 7:07.4 to 7:12.5. Dartmouth then went to win the Varsity Eight and Second Varsity in successive races. The Big Green crossed the finish the Second Varsity race in7:08.4, eight seconds ahead of the Big Red.
Dartmouth also got a win in the Varsity Four. The ?A' team won in a time of 8:09.1, followed by Cornell in 8:22.1 and the Dartmouth ?B' team with a time of 8:37.
The Big Red won their second event of the day, the Second Four, by more than 10 seconds, 8:25.7 to 8:36.1.
The Big Green will head to Camden, N.J. May 17 for the EAWRC Sprints.
