HANOVER, N.H.- The Dartmouth men's heavyweight novices raced at the novice-only Green Monster hosted by Dartmouth on the Connecticut River on Saturday (Nov. 5).
The Dartmouth heavyweight novice boat won the 24-boat race with a time of 14:43.4 besting the Holy Cross novices by over a minute. The Crusaders took second place with a time of 15:17.4. Rounding out the top five were Harvard lightweight B (15:20.20), Harvard lightweight A (15:23.8) and Trinity B (15:35.9).
The heavyweight lineup included: Alexander Steele (cox), Andrew Kenealy, Robert Truesdale, Brett Nicholas, Richard Newsome-White, Stuart Maeder, Bryan Rodgers, Max Kinne, Erin Frey.
Dartmouth takes a week off before closing the fall slate at the Foot of the Charles on the Charles River in Boston, Mass., on Nov. 19.
