PRINCETON, N.J. – The Dartmouth women's lacrosse team fell to No. 12 Princeton, 17-5, in Ivy League play on Saturday afternoon at the Sherrerd Field at Class of 1952 Stadium.

Dartmouth falls to 3-8, 1-4 while Princeton improves to 8-3, 3-0.

Katie Elders and
Katina Christensen continued their strong scoring form as they both scored twice for the Big Green.
Jev Ward finished with one goal and two assists.
Gisele Todd made 11 saves in goal while Dartmouth combined for six caused turnovers.

Kate Mulham scored a hat-trick for Princeton, while six players scored two goals apiece. In addition to scoring twice, Kyla Sears, the leader in points in the Ivy League, also had six assists for a game-high eight points.

The Tigers jumped out to an early 2-0 through goals from Kate Mulham and Grace Tauckus. Elders scored at the 7:36 mark in the first quarter but it was called back due to a stick violation. Elders did get on the board shortly after Princeton added their third of the game. Elders dashed towards goal and fired home a shot for her 31
st goal of the season, making it the eighth straight game in which she has scored for Dartmouth.

Just two minutes later, Christensen scored her 22
nd of the season to cut the deficit down to one. After receiving a pass from
Rosie McCarthy behind the goal, Christensen ran towards goal, making a move around the Princeton defender to place one in the back of the net.

The Tigers scored the next four goals to extend their lead to 7-2. Midway through the second quarter, Elders scored her second of the game after receiving a great pass across the face of goal from
Jev Ward. Princeton scored two more before halftime and then outscored the Big Green, 4-0, in the third quarter.

Dartmouth grabbed the opener of the fourth just 38 seconds into the quarter.
Jev Ward, with the ball at the top of the arc, cut around her defender and sprinted towards goal before ripping a shot past the Princeton goalkeeper to end the Big Green scoring drought.

Christensen scored her second of the game with roughly two minutes to go.
