HANOVER, N.H. – The Dartmouth women's lacrosse team fell to Drexel, 15-6, in non-conference action on Tuesday afternoon at Scully-Fahey Field.

Dartmouth moves to 3-11 while Drexel improves to 10-6.

Jev Ward led the Big Green in scoring with two goals while dishing out one assist.
Margaret Maruszewski,
Annika Begley,
Lucy Murray, and
Katina Christensen each scored one goal. Maya Desmond had four draw controls and two ground balls and
Maggie O'Gorman had two caused turnovers.
Gisele Todd made nine saves in goal.

Colleen Grady, Karson Harris, Lucy Schneidereith each scored four goals for the Dragons. Belle McHugh had five caused turnovers and Zoe Bennett made six saves in net.

The game was scoreless through the opening seven minutes of the game. Both teams had several chances to get on board and take the initial lead. The Dragons scored the first goal of the game at the 7:11 mark of the first quarter when Harris grabbed her first of the afternoon. Harris added another one just over a minute later from the free position.

With under two minutes remaining in the first,
Margaret Maruszewski received a pass from
Katina Christensen and side-stepped her way through the Dragons' defense and fired a low shot into the back of the net.

After Drexel scored the first four goals of the second quarter to extend their lead, the Big Green stopped the scoring run when
Jev Ward found
Annika Begley down low in front of goal. Begley faked Drexel goaltender Zoe Bennett high before shooting low, scoring her third of the season.

Lucy Murray ended her three-game scoreless run late in the second quarter when she made several moves around the Drexel defender to find an opening to rip off a shot to the bottom left corner.

Katina Christensen opened the second half scoring at the 9:33 mark of the third quarter. Christensen received a pass on the left side and sprinted towards goal before shooting it to the left side of the net.
Jev Ward scored her first of the game just two minutes later. Ward received the ball towards the right side of the arc, cutting towards the middle and firing one in to cut the deficit down to four.

After Drexel scored twice to push the lead back to six, Ward scored her second of the afternoon. Ward found an opening on the right side and dashed towards goal and placed one in the back of the net.
