CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Dartmouth women's lacrosse team fell to Harvard, 11-7, in Ivy League play on Sunday afternoon at Jordan Field.

Dartmouth moves to 2-7, 0-3 while Harvard improves to 4-4, 2-1.

Katie Elders led the Big Green with three goals and one assist for four points.
Margaret Maruszewski,
Rosie McCarthy,
Jev Ward, and
Annika Begley each scored one goal while Ward also added an assist.
Gisele Todd finished with eight saves in goal and
Lucy Murray scooped up three ground balls for Dartmouth.

Maddie Barkate led all scorers with five goals. Riley Campbell chipped in four goals and three assists for the Crimson. Chloe Provenzano made seven saves to pick up the win.

Harvard opened the scoring early as they grabbed their first goal inside the opening three minutes. The Crimson would add two more before the Big Green got on the board.
Katina Christensen made a great pass into traffic in the middle in front of goal to Maruszewski, who was able to quickly shoot it into the back of the net for her second goal of the season.

Jev Ward got on the scoresheet at the 11:26 mark of the second quarter when she scored a free position goal to cut the deficit to 5-2. It was Ward's 10
th of the season, making her the fourth player to get into double digits for scoring this year.

The Crimson added three more to push the lead to 8-2.
Rosie McCarthy scored with just under three minutes remaining in the half to end the Harvard scoring run, going into halftime down 8-3.

Katie Elders scored her team-leading 21
st goal of the season midway through the third quarter on a free position. Elders scored again three minutes later to cut the Harvard lead down to three. After the Crimson pushed the lead back to four,
Annika Begley scored her first of the season on free position shot.

Elders completed the hat-trick with 3:32 left in the game to lead the comeback effort. Harvard scored a final goal with 65 seconds remaining to close out the victory.
