DURHAM, N.H. – Maja Desmond and Katina Christensen combined for eight goals on Wednesday afternoon as the Dartmouth women's lacrosse team defeated New Hampshire, 19-8 at Wildcat Stadium.Â

The Big Green saw nine different goal-scorers behind Desmond and Christensen scoring a season-high of four goals while each tallying an assist. Fiona O'Keeffe collected five points with two goals and notching three assists. Catherine Erb put two past the keeper and collected an assist. Jenna Donohue also added to the board with two goals. Annie O'Keeffe, Lucy Murray, Mia Puccio, and scoring her first career goal, Haley Riabov each put one between the pipes.Â
 Gisele Todd collected seven saves in 36:10 minutes of play. Tamer Luzi saw action in the cage and collected a save in 23:50 minutes of play.Â
With the win, Dartmouth improves to 6-3 overall. Meanwhile, New Hampshire falls to 2-8. The all-time record between the two programs is 30-17 in favor of the Big Green.

The Wildcats were first to score but the Big Green quickly responded with three straight goals. At the 2:04 mark in the first quarter, Christensen scored her second goal of the game, reaching her 100-career point. Dartmouth added two more goals to close the first quarter 5-1. In the second quarter, UNH scored to bring the game within three, 5-3. Dartmouth then went on a 5-0 run but was stopped when the Wildcats finally found a scoring opportunity, 10-3. Going into halftime, Fiona O'Keeffe scored to extend the lead by eight, 11-3.

At the start of the second half, Big Green scored three of the four goals in the third quarter and led 14-4 going into the last frame. In the final 15 minutes of the game, New Hampshire was able to score four more times but ultimately fell short. Dartmouth sealed its 19-8 victory.Â
The Big Green resumes Ivy League play as they travel to Harvard on Saturday, March 30. Opening draw is scheduled for 4 p.m. and the game will be available to stream on ESPN+ and Stretch Internet.Â
