Foley and Mitchell-Day Named The Richards Group Athletes of the Week

HANOVER, N.H.—Dartmouth men's hockey player CJ Foley and Big Green men's basketball player Brandon Mitchell-Day have been named The Richards Group Athletes of the Week.

Each week, DartmouthSports.com will spotlight two outstanding student-athletes as Athletes of the Week.

CJ Foley, Junior, Hanover, Mass, Men's Hockey

Foley notched a pair of points in a weekend sweep of Hockey East foes Vermont and Merrimack. On Friday, he had an assist in a 7-2 win over the Catamounts. Against Merrimack, he scored the lone goal of the game to give the Big Green the win. On Monday, he was named ECAC Defender of the Week after finishing the weekend with a +4 rating. The junior has two goals and five assists this season.

Brandon Mitchell-Day, Senior, St. Louis, Mo., Men's Basketball

Brandon Mitchell-Day led the Big Green to their first road victory of the season against St. Peter's on Saturday. The senior forward had a team-high 23 points, which marks his fourth game of the season with ten or more points. He made eight of nine free throw attempts, as well as seven of 10 field goals.
