HANOVER, N.H.—Dartmouth women's lacrosse opened the 2026 season in grand fashion with a 19-6 win over Bryant at Scully-Fahey Field on Saturday afternoon.
The Big Green scored early and often as Catherine Erb scored the first goal of the season just 45 seconds into the game. Katie Barr picked up the assist and the Big Green never looked back.
Dartmouth scored eight goals in the opening 15 minutes as Erb bookended the first quarter with the eighth Dartmouth goal with 11 seconds left.
Madeline Egan scored the first two goals of her collegiate career as she scored the fourth and seventh goals.
Lauren Riley, Fiona O'Keefe, and Charlotte Myers each scored while Barr also scored her first collegiate goal in the first quarter. The Big Green limited Bryant to just one shot on goal in the first stanza.
Bryant opened the scoring in the second quarter but the Big Green responded and took the eight goal lead back as Egan completed the hat-trick.
After Bryant scored their second goal, the Big Green scored the next four goals to push it to a 13-2 lead.
Both teams scored once more in the second quarter as Dartmouth took a 14-3 lead to the locker room at halftime.
Both teams scored a pair of goals in the third quarter as F. O'Keefe and Egan each scored unassisted goals to make it a 16-5 lead after 45 minutes of play.
Sophomore transfer Etta Coburn scored her first goal as a member of the Big Green just under two minutes into the fourth quarter. F. O'Keefe and Egan closed out scoring for the Big Green while Bryant scored with 27 seconds left to make the final 19-6.
Jordan Healy earned the win in net for the Big Green as she made two saves in the first half. Riley Harrinton played made a pair of saves in just over six minutes of play while Ruby Lucken made four saves in just under 24 minutes of play.
Both Egan and F. O'Keeffe had five goals and an assist in the win. Erb also tallied six points with four goals and two assists.
Ellie Burdick, Caroline Haggerty, and Avery Coleman each had one caused turnover.
Maya Kendall picked up where she left off in 2025 as she nearly tied her own program and Ivy League draw control record. She recorded 20 in the game which is just two off from tying the record she set on Feb. 25, 2025 against New Hampshire.
Dartmouth outshot Bryant 23-14 in the game while also going 14-15 on clears.
The Big Green are back in action on Wednesday, Feb. 18 as they travel to Durham, N.H. to take on New Hampshire at 4 PM.
