Junior (2016-17): CRCA Scholar-Athlete … was part of the second varsity all year … at Sprints, she helped her boat take fourth in the Grand Final (7:34.58) … her crew was second in the second final at the Ivy League Championship (6:55.42).
Sophomore (2015-16): CRCA Scholar-Athlete … rowed in the varsity 8 all season … helped Dartmouth defeat UMass and BU (6:36.9) … at Sprints, she was the 5-seat and placed third in the Grand Final (7:22.23) … at Ivies, her crew was third (6:55.74), defeating Cornell.
Freshman (2014-15): Was the bow of the second varsity that won against BC, UMass and MIT (8:07.10) … at Sprints, her boat placed third in the Grand Final (6:45.83) … helped her crew finish second in the Petite Final at the Ivy League Championship (6:49.477).
Before Dartmouth: Attended Garfield High School … four-time letterwinner in rowing … captain as both a junior and a senior … placed first at the Northwest Regional Championship all four years … was a U.S. Junior National team member in 2013 in Trakai, Lithuania … won silver at the U.S. Rowing Youth National Championship as a senior … concert choir.
Personal: Simone Juliana Framson is the daughter of Marlies van Bergeijk and Paul Framson … has one sister, who is part of the Harvard-Radcliffe women’s lightweight crew team.
