World Rowing U23 Championship Competitor (2021)

Junior (2019-20): Season cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic ... raced in the Championship 4+ that finished third on the final day of the Head of the Charles (15.57.371) (3/20) ... raced in the B boat at the Princeton Chase (10/27) where the team placed seventh in round one and sixth in round two.

Sophomore (2018-19): Began the season in the championship 4+ boat at the Head of the Charles (10/21) ... raced in the 1V at the Princeton Chase (13:04.1) ... finished first against Holy Cross, Columbia and MIT in the 1V (6:02.1) ... second place at Yale for the Olympic Axe in the 1V (5:43.3) ... came in second against BU for the Bill Cup in the 2V (6:19.7) ... second place against Brown in the 2V (6:20.2) ... beat Syracuse by four seconds in the 2V (6:00.6) ... fifth place at the Eastern Sprints in the 2V (6:51.522) ... best time from Dartmouth at the IRA National Regatta, coming in second with a time of 5:51.919 in the 2V.

Freshman (2017-18): Opened the season at the Head of the Charles as he rowed in the seven seat of the Club 8+ boat that finished ninth (15:06.594)… rowed in the third varsity boat that defeated Columbia (6:29.6)… also rowed in the third varsity boat that bested Georgetown (5:13.6)… at the Eastern Sprints Regatta he rowed in the third varsity boat helping his teammates to a sixth-place finish in the Grand Final (5:59.62) after coming in second in the preliminary heat (5:55.62).

Before Dartmouth: Four-year letterwinner in rowing, captain his senior year … also lettered all years in basketball … gold medal winner in the 2017 National Rowing Championships … won gold at the 2014 and 2015 Indoor Rowing Nationals … earned two gold medals at the 2015 Canadian Henley … placed 11th at the rowing Junior Worlds in 2016 … finished 13th at the Junior Worlds in 2015 … Champion at the 2014 U17 Canadian Henley Championship … three-time basketball MVP, 2014-16 … Junior of the Year in 2016, an honor given by his school.

Personal: Son of Shane and Darinka Keane … has two brothers, one who rows at the University of Victoria.
