Why Dartmouth?

I chose Dartmouth because of the academics and community. Also, I appreciate Dartmouth's distinct location-- not every college student has the opportunity to wake up to forests and mountains right outside their dorm window.

How long have you been rowing and what got you interested in rowing?

I walked onto the team my freshman year.

Have you won any academic or rowing awards recently?

I received the John L. Branscum Jr. '81 Award given to the Outstanding Novice Lightweight Oarsman.

Tell me something interesting about you that might come as a surprise to your teammates.

When I was a baby, I rolled down a flight of stairs in a walker-- didn't break a single bone. I've surprisingly kept all the bones in my body intact since then too.

What other activities do you participate in on campus?

Dartmouth Emergency Medical Service, Big Brother Big Sister, Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center Internship, Academic Skills Center Tutor, and Agape Christian Fellowship.

What are your future plans, if any?

I came to Dartmouth with the intention of going to medical school and eventually becoming a radiologist. I am no longer so sure I want to pursue medicine.
