Why Dartmouth?

Dartmouth offers its rowers an excellent combination of beautiful surroundings, unmatched academics, as well as extracurricular opportunities
missing at other top tier schools.

How long have you been rowing and what got you interested in rowing?

I began rowing my freshman year of high school, and have been rowing ever since. I became interested after doing a learn to row camp in the eighth
grade and realizing that some of the skills which had helped me excel in my other sport, swimming, were transferable to rowing.

Have you won any academic or rowing awards recently?

I am an English major, and was made the William H. Scherman 1934 Scholar by the English Department.

Tell me something interesting about you that might come as a surprise to your teammates.

They know pretty much everything about me already.

What other activities do you participate in on campus?

Chi Gamma Epsilon fraternity for men
