Q&A with Henry Xu

Why Dartmouth?

I came to Dartmouth because of the amazing people, world-class academics, and quaint location. The first time I visited, I knew this is where I
wanted to be for the next four years of my life.

How long have you been rowing and what got you interested in rowing?

I walked onto the team in my freshman year; I've never rowed before. I originally ran track in high school, but I wanted to try something new in college.

Have you won any academic or rowing awards recently?

No.

Tell me something interesting about you that might come as a surprise to
your teammates.

I grew up in Germany.

What other activities do you participate in on campus?

I take piano lessons and perform at One Wheelock.

What are your future plans, if any.

I plan on double majoring in government and economics with a minor in Arabic, so a career in international business or law is a possibility.
