Why Dartmouth?
Dartmouth is an academically strong school with the small town setting and beautiful natural surroundings i was looking for. Dartmouth also has students from many different backgrounds, and I found this diversity within the student body to be interesting and attractive.

How long have you been rowing and what got you interested?
I started rowing sophomore year of high school. Prior to that, I was a cross country and track runner. I joined crew because I was searching for a sport that combined the thrill of racing and the satisfaction of endurance training with an element of team unity and shared sacrifice.

Have you won any awards?
Ive one outstanding novice rower and outstanding varsity rower in high school.

Future Plans?
My future plans are far from concrete, but I would tentatively like to study government or history and possibly work in Washington or go to law school. But meanwhile I just want to enjoy the Dartmouth experience.
