2016 (Sophomore): Played in 12 games and made 9 starts... Caused four turnovers and snagged six ground balls, two of which came during a thrilling 13-11 victory at home vs. Columbia in the season finale.
2015 (Freshman): Played in 12 games, making 9 starts…Did not register a point…Picked up six ground balls and four draw controls…Had seven caused turnovers, including three in the season opener at UConn on Feb. 21.
Before Dartmouth: A three-sport athlete at Darien High School, Bennett was a part of the lacrosse, ice hockey and soccer teams…A defender during lacrosse season, she was part of a team that won the Connecticut State Championship in 2011, 2013 and as a senior in 2014…Bennett also helped Darien to three league championships as well, doing so in consecutive seasons from 2012-14…As a senior, she was a first-team player on both the all-conference and all-state squads, while also earning All-America honorable mention recognitions…She comes from a lacrosse family as both of her parents played at Princeton in the late 1970s.
Personal: Becomes the third member of her family to represent the Big Green as both her sister Eliza ’10 and Courtney ’13 played lacrosse at Dartmouth…Daughter of Jay and Mary Bennett, both Princeton graduates and alumns of the Tigers' lacrosse and soccer teams... Her uncle Alfred Munkenbeck is a member of the Dartmouth Class of 1969.
