2019 (Senior): A 2019 All-Ivy League First Team selection…Named to the IWLCA All-Northeast Region First Team…Finished her career with 162 points, good for 11th all-time in program history…The 122 career goals are also 11th in program history… Her 73 points tied for the second most by any Big Green player in a single season in nearly five decades of competition…Her 58 goals as a senior rank as the fifth-best total by a Dartmouth player and were the most by an Ivy League player at the time of the team's final game of the season…Played in, started and scored at least one goal in all 17 games…Scored seven times in a road win at Binghamton on 2/24… It was the 21st time in program history that a Dartmouth player found the back of the net seven or more times in a game. Her fifth of the afternoon hit the milestone 100-point total, making her the 33rd player in program history to reach it…Recorded at least a hat trick in 11 of the team’s 17 contests with six games of five or more.
2018 (Junior): Played in all 16 games…Made seven straight starts to end the season…Second on the team with 39 goals…Second on the team with 46 points…Her 13 (13-for-19) free-position goals led the team…Scored at least one goal in all but one game…Had four games of four or more goals and eight games of at least three goals…Posted four or more points in each of the team’s final four games, including a 3-1-4 game against Penn on 5/4 at Princeton in the Ivy League Tournament…Posted five points against both Harvard (4-1-5) on 3/31 and Yale (3-2-5) on 4/21.
2017 (Sophomore): Played in all 15 games, making nine starts...Tied for third on the team with 35 points... Led the team with 14 assists... Her 21 goals ranked fourth on the team... Had a team-leading five two-assists games...Posted a career-high six points in a home win against Binghamton (Feb. 25) thanks to four goals, another career high.
2016 (Freshman): Appeared in 13 games and started 4 during her first season with the Big Green... Scored her first career goal at home vs. UNH on 2/23... Finished the season with 4 goals and added 4 assists... Picked up one ground ball, won seven draw controls, and cause one turnover.
Before Dartmouth: A two-time First Team US Lacrosse All-American in 2014 and 2015…Her final two seasons at James Madison High School also saw Sweeney earn first team all-state and all-region honors in addition to being named the conference’s Player of the Year, a spot on the USA Today All-Virginia Team and an honorable mention for the USA Today National Team…Following her senior season, she was also named to the Under Armour All-America South Team as she scored 50 goals and added seven assists while leading her team to a 13-2 record and a league championship…Also is an accomplished field hockey and ice hockey player.
Personal: Daughter of Mark and Khy Sweeney...Father played lacrosse at Washington College...Mother played volleyball at William & Mary...Has one brother.
