Hard work has paid off for Kate Labrum, who has seen her playing time increase each year. As a junior she made 13 starts while appearing in all 16 games. She finished with five goals and two assists. She helped trigger a big win over Brown with two goals less than six minutes apart. She had two more goals the next time out at Vermont and followed that with a goal and an assist against Cornell. She had 10 draw controls and five ground balls on the season. After appearing in five games as a freshman, she saw time in 16 games as a sophomore, winning Dartmouth's Most Improved Award. She scored her first collegiate goal in the Big Green's 18-5 win over James Madison in West Palm Beach. Fla.. At Strath Haven, she was a dual-sport athlete playing field hockey and lacrosse. Despite only playing field hockey for two years, she captained the team and was second team All-Central and honorable mention All-Delaware. Playing lacrosse for three years, she notched honorable mention All-Central and All-Delaware and was an Academic All-America.
Kate is majoring in biology.
